Future Facilities

The upper structure of building part C will be used as a ‘reserve location’ for buildings in the University Quarter in the coming years. This means that it will be used as a temporary location for UvA departments and must be flexible. An integration study has been conducted to determine the future programme.

A study by the UvA has shown that the building is suitable for office use. It will serve as a sliding site for temporary use and for the relocation of teaching and research within the University Quarter when other construction projects are realised.

Building part B of GHK will be taken over entirely by the Allard Pierson (AP). The technical service and the Performing Arts department of the museum will be located here.
