Work schedule

The work starts on Tuesday, 25 May and will last for five to six weeks. The contractor will work from 07:00 to 17:00. The work depends on the weather, so the work schedule may change. If this is the case, an update will be posted in this news item.

What is going to happen

The roof will be renewed in sections. In each section, the roofing and insulation will be removed and then replaced. This will then be repeated with the next section of the roof. Finally, the ‘fall protection’ will be renewed, the safety devices which allow future inspections or other work on the roof to take place safely.

Noise nuisance

The work will be accompanied by some noise nuisance. This applies to the installation of the insulation as well as the roof covering and fall protection. This will mainly involve drilling or sawing noise.

Delivery, removal and storage of materials

The construction materials will be transported by crane to and from the Rokin and stored on the roof of the building. No building material will be stored in the courtyard.
