The municipality of Amsterdam is always looking for smart solutions for traffic and transport. In this context, the municipality of Amsterdam will launch 10 to 15 neighbourhood eHUBs in different parts of the city in the next two years. Neighbourhood eHUBs offer electric shared transport that is appropriate for that neighbourhood, such as a large or small shared car, bicycles (regular or cargo) and/or scooters. That way, you can rent a suitable vehicle at any time. All electric vehicles in neighbourhood eHUBs can be hired easily via the transport providers’ app.

Together with the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research and the University of Amsterdam, the municipality of Amsterdam has the ambition to install neighbourhood eHUBs at Amsterdam Science Park. It is important that the electric vehicles meet the needs of the neighbourhood. While one neighbourhood would benefit from an electric cargo bike, another might need an electric car. That is why we are asking you to share your thoughts with us. Do you think you will use this facility or not? Which means of transport would you like to hire and which location seems convenient to you? Please complete the questionnaire and let us know. Completing the questionnaire will take about 10 minutes of your time.

During a physical information session on the 27th of September we will announce the voting results and provide further information about the BuurtHub. You are cordially invited. For more information about the information session see the link below.

Do you live, work or study at Amsterdam Science Park? Share your thoughts about the different neighbourhood eHUBs at the park.
