The old diamond cutting facilities in the front and rear of the building have been repurposed into a new Crea Cafe, offices, studios, workshops and project spaces. These facilities are all located behind the landmark façade on the Nieuwe Achtergracht. CREA now accommodates facilities with special requirements in terms of acoustics, room height and space, such as the music studios, theatre and music auditorium. 

Performances and lectures are held on a daily basis, and the building accommodates over 30 different student associations. The professional studios can be leased during the day and in weekends. The CREA café is open on a daily basis from 10:00 until 01:00 (from 11:00 until 19:00 on Sundays). 

A good neighbour

CREA seeks to be a good neighbour and its staff members will work to make sure that visitors do not cause disturbances.
